Fulton Industrial Blvd to be Part of CoSF – If Approved by Voters

Fulton Industrial Boulevard is being placed in the new City of South Fulton based on the General Assembly passing House Bill 131 introduced by State Rep. Roger Bruce. It's not a done deal just yet. The companion bill HB 132 calls for a County-wide referendum scheduled for November 2017. If that bill passes the 3-mile strip will join the new city on January 1, 2018.

So expect a new campaign to get started soon after the city gets underway. The addition of the industrial area will bring in roughly $5 - $6 million in revenues.  Atlanta attempted annex the area placed in its jurisdiction. Thus far, no landowner signed-on to join Atlanta.
